My Entrepreneurial Timeline
I have been an entrepreneur for most of my life. My journey began in my early teens when I started, Reliable Lawncare. When I graduated from college Reliable Lawncare became my first successful exit. Throughout my journey one thing remained consistent, I surrounded myself with entrepreneurs who knew more than me, I always had a coach and/or mentors, and I was eager to learn. This is the key entrepreneurial success and the ones who will succeed.
(1997-2006)
Computer Comfort, Inc.
In 1997, I took a job with my parents outsource computer firm, Computer Comfort, Inc.. I started my career with Computer Comfort running local area network cabling and worked my way into a technician. By this time the business was struggling after years of success. In order to retain certain employees, I was given less than 5% equity in the company along with a few others.

GlobalPOPs, Inc. & End User Services, Inc.
In 2001 GlobalPOPs, Inc. and End User Services, Inc. were created by the shareholders want to enter the wholesale and retail Internet services industry to diversify our portfolio. This move was primarily done to gain consistent and predictable revenue that provided a recurring revenue stream.
By 2006 GlobalPOPs and End User Services grew to $1.45M in monthly revenue topping $17.4M in annual revenue with 60%+ GPM (gross profit margins and 28%+ net margin.
ABG Capital, Inc.
In 2006 ABG Capital, Inc. was create as a management and holding company for our portfolio companies. As an S-Corp, ABG Capital was the parent company and all existing and new companies became Q-subs under the ABG Capital umbrella. ABG Capital also became a management company housing the board of directors and all the key back office support departments and resources, office space, benefits, legal, accounting, billing, HR, IT, development, administration, marketing and the idea incubator. Each portfolio company under the ABG Capital umbrella shared its resources and back office support departments providing economies of scale.

Veratext, Inc.
In 2007 Veratext, Inc. was created from our idea incubator. VeraText offers innovative yet simple mobile marketing solutions that allow communications from the web to any cell phone and back. VeraText helps businesses increase brand equity and build strong communities by connecting with wireless customers anytime, anywhere and on any device. Unfortunately, Veratext was a bit ahead of its time and was the victim of lack of resources due to other business iniciatives.

InspiraFS, Inc.
In 2007 InspiraFS, Inc. was a startup created from an idea and blossomed into wholesale IRA investment network and investment platforms giving access to a range of investments allowing larger financial institutions to offer an easier and cost effective way to provide IRA services to third party administrators and individuals. In December of 2017 InspiraFS was sold for $19M

VoIPstreet, Inc.
In 2006 VoIPstreet, Inc., a small voice-over-IP (VoIP) wholesale company was purchased for $30K. VoIPstreet offered wholesale, End User and Private Label VoIP services to resellers and small business located in the United States.
VoIPstreet was the beginning of my time in the telecommunications industry and would soon to become the parent company of VoIP Innovations. In 2019 VoIPstreet was sold as a packaged deal to Sangom Technologies, a publicly traded company from Canada.

VoIP Innovations, Inc.
In 2007 VoIP Innovations, Inc was created as a Q-sub under VoIPstreet, Inc.. I was the President of VI for 12+ years and was responsible for taking it from an idea, to an MVP, to breakeven and finally a scalable entity ready to be acquired.
VoIP Innovations is a wholesale voice-over-IP (VoIP) carrier offering DIDs/telephone numbers, in/outbound calls, and SMS/MMS to advanced services such as E911, Telecom Fraud Mitigation and telecommunications billing services worldwide.
VoIP Innovations quickly became an industry leader in the telecommunications space before being acquired for $42M in October of 2019. When sold, VI was generating $1.75M revenue per month or $21M annually with 63% gross profit margins (GPM) and 32% net margins.

Tapolci Foundation Non-Profit
Tapolci Foundation was founded in 2014 as a non-profit. The Tapolci Foundation provides the opportunity, leadership, and tools needed to expand, enhance and sustain the common good for the community of Western Pennsylvania area. It is run by Jason and Maureen Tapolci who have set the purpose, mission, vision, and values to help the less fortunate.

DTH America, LLC
DTH America was an acquisition made by ABG Capital in 2016. DTH America was created by an individual from Canada and was licensed by VoIP Innovations as its billing system. When the opportunity to purchase DTH America presented itself ABG Capital made the purchase so VoIP Innovations owned the proprietary billing system it used. DTH America was part of the 2019 VoIP Innovations acquisition made by Sangoma Technologies.

Vocaly, LLC.
Vocaly, LLC. was a startup created in 2016 by myself and two other seasoned telecommunications individuals. Vocaly is a mobile first cloud-based small business phone system operated from any mobile device. Vocaly allowed small business an inexpensive business phone solution that had all the features and functionality as more expensive options. Our solution allowed small businesses to use their personal mobile phones as both a business and personal phone without mixing the two. Vocaly was sold to VoIP Innovations in 2019, which was ultimately sold in the Sangom Technologies transaction.

Compati Home Care, LLC
Compati Home Care was an idea by an individual who I mentored, invested financially and became a partner. I lead this startup taking it from an idea to an minimum viable product (MVP). Comapti Home Care provides home care services to Seniors/elderly, veterans of our armed forces, the disabled, people who have Alzheimer’s and dementia, as well as individuals looking for respite care. In 2018 after successfully taking Compati to an MVP and on its way to a scalable entity I successfully made my exit.

apidaze, Inc.
apidaze, Inc. was purchase in 2017 from a company in France and was integrated into the VoIP Innovations product offering to better align VI with the quickly changing telecommunications industry. Apidaze is an API based communications platform providing real-time voice, video, messaging, and more into VoIP, web and mobile services. apidaze was part of the acquisition of VI by Sangoma Technologies.

PrimeTier, LLC.
PrimeTier, LLC. was a startup in 2017 by the same group that started Vocaly, LLC.. Primeteir was an outsourced telecommunications call/support center designed to offer VoIP resellers an inexpensive and knowledgeable solution for customer support. Unfortunately, PrimeTeir was shutdown due to the time commitment of the sale of InspiraFS and VoIP Innovations.

Patient Healthcare Partners, LLC
Patient Healthcare Partners, LLC. (PHCP). Was an idea by an individual who I mentored, invested financially and became a partner. Patient Healthcare Partners (PHCP) prepares, implements and manages chronic care management (CCM) for the changes from fee for service care to Value Based Care for private physician practices.

Stradigi Digital, LLC.
Stradigi Digital, LLC. Is a startup that was created from an idea and is currently in the MVP business lifecycle stage. While mentoring an individual who was running a traditional marketing consulting business, I made the recommendation I didn’t feel she had a viable and scalable business model. Having a degree in marketing as well as an interest in marketing we began exploring different digital online business ideas and models. Models that targeted small businesses who had a pain in the market, had a differentiator and provided recurring revenue. I decided to become a partner, provide capital investment and become the CEO.
